The burn rates of both seem like they would be appropriate for light to standard .45 Colt loads but I haven't seen any load data using those powders. I have used 3.9 grains of WSF for several years with a 147 gr coated Ibejihead, around 1.14 OAL. I agree, after a lot of research, seemed like users noticed the WST / WSF are less smokey with coated bullets. I get almost no smoke with WSF.
